Private Charter - Darwin Regional City Tour

- Duration: 8 Hours (approx.)
- Location: Darwin, NT
- Product code: PC-DCT-01
This tour begins following convenient hotel pick-up from downtown Darwin. Explore several of the loveliest locales in the capital of Australia’s Northern Territory. Count the masts of tall ships in Cullen Bay, glimpse towering cruise yachts at Stokes Hill Wharf, and soak up the local flavor where Darwin’s main thoroughfares intersect in the bustling heart of the city. Following your urban exploits you will then journey to Casuarina Coastal Reserve and the magnificent sandy beaches and views. Named for the eponymous evergreen shrubs that dot its scenic coastline. Keep your eyes peeled for ospreys and sea eagles darting among the mangroves as you stroll the beach, searching for smooth stones and sea glass.
From Casuarina Coastal Reserve, head south towards
Nightcliff Jetty and East Point Reserve, pausing at both
picturesque
destinations to snap photos and admire the brilliant surf.
At East Point Reserve, keep your eyes peeled for wallabies
who love to explore the smooth, sandy spits between the
rocky headlands.
With lunchtime approaching we make our way to the
Darwin Botanical Gardens for a stroll among the diverse
ecosystems represented here and a spot of lunch under the
inspiring tropical raintrees.
Following lunch we will then pop into the
fascinating Museum and Art Gallery of the NT to
get an eclectic education of all things natural and
artistic in the Top End.
From here it is one last stop out at Charles
Darwin National Park for an introduction into
bush foods and medicines of some of the Top
End plants and afternoon tea before returning to
your preferred location.
