Wildlife and Environments of the floodplains - PRIVATE CHARTER ONLY

Rise for the birds and greet the outback sunrise as you are picked up from your accommodation around 0530 am.  You are off to Fogg Dam for a sunrise walk through the wilds and breaky with the birds .

Fogg Dam, where the diverse habitats of monsoonal forest, wetland and floodplain combine. In this small piece of paradise over 230 different species of birds have been recorded. 

Here also begin your bushcraft journey of discovery by learning some of the bush foods and medicine plants of the Top End as we wander through the forest. 

afterward move on to Corrobboree Billabong (May to October) or Adelaide River (Dec to May) for a water borne immersion in the wetland environments of the Mary River Region before enjoying lunch at the outback icon of Purple Mango Cafe (May to Oct) or Humpty Doo Hotel (Dec to May)

Tour will finish around 1500 pm.
